Iran actress Mehraveh Sharifinia grabs award at Bridges filmfest

Iranian actress Mehraveh Sharifinia has received an award at the Bridges International Film Festival in Greece.

Sharifinia won the best actress award at the event for appearing in ‘Wander About Me’.

The film was nominated at three sections of the festival and Sharifinia could grab the best actress in a leading role.

Directed by Ghazaleh Soltani, the movie narrates the story of a woman who tries to reach her goals in Tehran as she is pushing 30.

Mehraveh Sharifinia, Behnaz Jafari, Sousan Maqsoudlou, Nasrin Nakisa and Negar Fathi have starred in the movie.

Bridges International Film Festival was established in 2008 in the framework of celebrations for 150 years of the foundation of Corinth.

It was held under the Auspices of Ministry of Transport and Communications in Greece and was organized in cooperation with the Cultural Centre of Corinth.
